Local Online Worship Resources

For those of you that have been missing your usual fellowship, particularly over Easter, here is a list of local online resources that may help during these difficult times. The list has been helpfully collated by Revd Andy Williams.
Holy Trinity Hursdfield
HTH Sunday Live
http://www.hthmacc.com/hth-sunday-live.html – Sunday @ 10:30am:
– a live stream welcome, a bit of online chat, and ‘introduction’ to our service. (this is the only ‘live’ bit we do, and it is available after the live time as a recorded piece)
– then on the webpage there are links to pre-recorded sermon, prayer topics, worship songs and activities for kids and teens.
HTH at HOME
http://www.hthmacc.com/hth-at-home.html
This is a ‘resource page’ that we are building up over time with Easter reflections (some videos others written – online till Easter Monday), prayer resources, interesting reading material, and photos from people who are joining in with stuff…
It is all accessible from our website: www.hthmacc.com
St Peter’s Macclesfield
St Peter’s Macclesfield is live-streaming Morning Prayer on Facebook Mon-Sat at 9am (https://www.facebook.com/stpetersmacclesfield/ ), with previous days still available online
St Peter’s is also holding live Sunday services via Zoom at 9.30am (email teamrector.macc@gmail.com to request the link to join in). We had one of our largest Sunday attendances in my time here last Sunday, including a household each in Edinburgh & Mull.
St Michael’s Macclesfield
St Michael’s is uploading pre-recorded Sunday services week-by-week to https://www.achurchnearyou.com/church/12802/
St Paul’s Macclesfield
St. Paul’s uploads video resources (weekly service, talks & reflections, to its YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQMeK5BCanr78m6_FuA0yFQ
and on its new website (note new URL) www.stpaulsmacc.org
and links from our Facebook page www.facebook.com/stpaulsmacclesfield
If anyone is struggling with technology and would like some support, I’ll do my best to help.
St Oswald Bollington
We are using Facebook (www.facebook.com/stoswaldbollington)
plus our website (www.stoswaldbollington.org.uk
St Christopher’s Pott Shrigley
Our Sunday morning services have been streamed, merging recorded video, slides, live streaming from more than one location, and licensed songs’/hymns (iSing) – it is all mixed together in real time by one of our cleverer members, using something called BeLive: the result is streamed on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/171605704700/, but also saved after as a video which is hosted on our website http://pottshrigleychurch.org.uk
Peak Parishes
We take live facebook services at 10.30am on Sundays. These are hosted on https://www.facebook.com/Peak-Parishes-465909457536007/ facebook page. They can also be viewed later on youtube by going to peak parishes on youtube search engine (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiSOm7vamOZVfw7PDFpm6JQ). For those who wish we can provide an order of service by email so individuals can participate.
All Saints & St Barnabas Macclesfield
In terms of worship I’m keeping things very simple. I post a reflection each Sunday morning (also one for Good Friday) on our Facebook pages
(https://www.facebook.com/allsaintschurchmacclesfield/ & https://www.facebook.com/stbarnabaschurchmacc/ ). This is also duplicated on All Saints’ website
(https://allsaintschurchmacclesfield.weebly.com ) for those who don’t have Facebook access. Also posting links to other resources by email and on Facebook.
