Rainow Rallying to Help Those in Need

It’s wonderful to see how the community is pulling together in difficult times, particularly to help those who are in need. The posts below were shared originally on Rainow Old and New. If you would like to help then please see details below:
From Katy:
FOOD COLLECTION FOR MACCLESFIELD FOOD BANKS DURING LOCKDOWN
Starting Monday, April 27th at LOWNDES FOLD FARM (directly opp. Rainow vicarage)
People can leave donations of non-perishable foodstuffs in the garage on Mon Wed and Fridays between 10am and 2 pm.
Garage will be open so no need to knock on our door.
Jane and Bridget will pick up your donations and take to those in need.
Also from Bridget:
Anyone who lives near Calrofold can leave food with us at CALROW fold farm, Calrofold Lane. The old stone loo is a good place to leave stuff but generally either Jeremy or I should be here. Bridget.
From Adele:
SEWING SCRUBS FOR MACCLESFIELD HOSPITAL AND HEALTH VISITORS
Thanks to all who have donated duvets covers and polycotton pieces…not white or very light please. Leave at 70 Millers Meadow.
Thanks also to the other sewers in Rainow.
Has anyone pyjama cord for pants?
Scrubs and drawstring bags are currently going to Macc hospital and Health visitors.
